Monday, July 13: New Timetables Take Effect

Essential Service Plan Remains in Effect as Region Reopens

Changes to the Essential Service plan will go into effect on Monday, July 13, as concrete tie installation shifts from the LIRR’s Main Line to the Port Washington Branch, with work taking place between Woodside and Flushing. All branches are affected. See below for key changes:

Babylon Branch:

Westbound, Morning:

Westbound, Afternoon/Evening:

Eastbound, Morning:

Eastbound, Afternoon/Evening:

Note: Additional trains (westbound and eastbound) have been adjusted to depart between 3-7 minutes later.  

Weekdays, Midday: Service will be reduced from half-hourly to hourly.

Weekends, Overnight: No train service between Woodside and Flushing-Main Street. Free LIRR shuttle buses will transport customers between Woodside and Flushing-Main Street. Train service will operate between Port Washington and Flushing-Main Street.
