Buses Replace Weekend Trains Between Port Washington & Great Neck/ Hourly Train Service Between Great Neck & Penn Station

This weekend, July 21 - 22, buses replace trains between Port Washington, Plandome, Manhasset and Great Neck, while train service between Great Neck and Penn Station is reduced to hourly to accommodate state-of-good-repair maintenance work on the Manhasset Viaduct.  Please plan for up to 25 minutes of additional travel time.  Service will be affected as follows:

Westbound
• Customers at stations Port Washington, Plandome and Manhasset will board a bus or van to Great Neck.  Buses will depart up to 25 minutes earlier than normal train times.  At Great Neck, customers will connect with trains for service to points west. 

Eastbound
• Trains to Great Neck will depart Penn Station hourly.  At Great Neck, customers will board a van or bus to stations Manhasset, Plandome and Port Washington.
