LIRR President Hosts Customer Conversation Events Across Long Island

The Long Island Rail Road is holding two “Customer Conversations” forums to gather ideas and insights from commuters, leisure travelers and community residents. LIRR President Phil Eng will outline LIRR Forward, a package of specialized actions designed to transform operations at the railroad to better improve the customer experience. Eng and senior LIRR staff will answer questions, listen to, and learn from your ideas, concerns and suggestions. The events will be held:

NASSAU COUNTY – Thursday, May 31
Olmsted Theater, Performing Arts Center, Adelphi University
1 South Avenue, Garden City, NY 11530
Doors Open at 6:00PM. Event begins at 7:00PM
By Train: Take the LIRR’s Hempstead Branch to the Nassau Boulevard Station. Then walk five blocks east along South Avenue.
By Car: Free parking is available on the Adelphi University Campus, near the Performing Arts Center.

SUFFOLK COUNTY – Thursday, June 7
Art Gallery, MacArthur Airport (inside the terminal)
100 Arrival Avenue, Ronkonkoma, NY 11779
Doors Open at 6:00PM. Event begins at 7:00PM
By Train:
 Take the LIRR’s Ronkonkoma Branch to the Ronkonkoma Station, then take the S-57 bus to MacArthur Airport.
By Car: Free parking is available at MacArthur Airport in Lot 6, Lot 6B and Auto Plane Lots.
