New bus service between Columbus Circle and Abingdon Sq

As part of MTA NYC Transit's 2012 Service Investment Initiative, M12 local bus service is being established in Manhattan between Columbus Circle and Abingdon Square in the West Village. The M12 will travel downtown on 11 Av and uptown via West St
and 12 Av.

The uptown terminal will be on W. 58 St at Broadway and the downtown terminal will be on 8 Av at Jane St.

The M12 will operate from 7 AM to 10 PM, seven days a week.

Customer benefits
• The M12 will provide north-south service to the rapidly
developing west side of Manhattan.
• The M12 will link to the Seven line train extension when it opens
   at 34 St/11Av.
