Improving non-stop. Constructing a new Arthur Kill station New Arthur Kill Station PerspectiveNew Arthur Kill Station Perspective

To upgrade the Staten Island Railway system and improve service for our customers, we are constructing a new station and commuter parking lot. When completed in late fall of 2015, it will replace the existing Nassau and Atlantic Stations.

What you can look forward to:

  • A modern, completely accessible station with
ADA-compliant ramps leading to full-length platforms

  • Windscreens, canopies and an enclosed pedestrian overpass to access both platforms for all-weather protection

  • A 150 car park-and-ride lot

  • Convenient NYC Transit Bus drop-off and pickup stops for intermodal connectivity

The MTA is constantly striving to improve the riding experience of our Staten Island Railway customers and looks forward to welcoming you to the new Arthur Kill Station when construction is completed.
