Bus Operator Applicants, Exam No. 4600

Thank you for applying for NYC Transit Bus Operator, Exam No. 4600. Please take a moment and read the important information below.

You were given a multiple-choice test. Your score on this test will be used to determine your place on an eligible list. You must achieve a score of at least 70 to pass this test. Most candidates who passed the multiple-choice test will be scheduled to take the Bus Operator Selection Survey (BOSS) on October 4, 2014. Admission letters will be mailed in September 2014.

Those candidates who passed the multiple-choice test but were not scheduled for October 4 will be re-scheduled in the future. As of now, we do not have an anticipated date on when the remainder of candidates will be scheduled for BOSS.

The proposed keys for this exam were published on January 23, 2014. Please refer to your ‘Candidate’s Record of Answers’ sheet to compare your answers to the proposed key answers. The final key answers will not be published until the list is established.

At this time, we do not have an expected month in which this list will be made public or established. As per the Notice of Examination, this may be up to nine months from when you took the test. Once the list is established, you will receive your official Notice of Results in the mail.
