Pre-Tax Transit Benefit Information

The Federal law that allows a pre-tax transit benefit of up to $130 per month was re-enacted the week of January 1, 2014. Customers should contact the workplace administrator of their transit benefit program for assistance in modifying their current pre-tax and secondary payments. Or, click on the link for your transit benefit program provider below for information about alternate payment options available to you.

NOTICE: The MTA no longer accepts prepaid vouchers as a form of payment for MetroCard, or for commuter rail tickets purchased through Mail&Ride as well as at Ticket Offices.
