Max ZT began playing the hammered dulcimer at the age of seven. For 12 years he studied the instrument's traditional uses in American folk music. Expanding his reach, Max traveled to Senegal to study under the Cissoko family and developed his unique style of improvisation and composition.

Luke Notary studied with such masters as Pandit Swapan Chaudhuri, Hamza El Din, and Jamey Haddad. His experience has taken him around the world to teach and perform, and he is constantly creating innovative new sounds, textures, and grooves.

Moto Fukushima has been playing music for as long as he can remember. With a strong background in jazz improvisation, Western classical music, and the Latin styles of South America, Moto's playing is an amazing combination of finesse, subtlety, and power.After studying around the world and becoming masters of their instruments, these three came together and created a collective voice. The music speaks for itself.
