  • Every Spring, Music Under New York (MUNY) presents a day of Auditions in Grand Central Terminal to review and add new performers to the MUNY roster. Approximately 60 acts perform, each for five minutes, to showcase their talent in front of a large panel of judges, composed of musicians, performing arts professionals and transit representatives. The event is free and open

    Please join MTA Arts & Design and the Poetry Society of America for a two-day poetry festival Poetry in Motion Springfest on April 26 and 27. Held in Grand Central Terminal's Vanderbilt Hall from 11am to 6pm, the celebration will feature poetry activities for people of all ages.


    Grand Central Centennial, in Grand Central Terminal, one of the nation's great architectural treasures, has been the site of the beginning and ending of countless journeys for millions of travelers over the past century. To celebrate Grand Central's 100th birthday, MTA Arts & Design presents a variety of special events, exhibitions and performances.

    Join us for a private, behind-the-scenes tour of this iconic landmark including a curator-guided introduction to Arts & Design's contemporary art exhibition, On Time/ Grand Central at 100, with special guest artists.
