Upper Hudson Line Schedule Change Saturday & Sunday, Dec. 1 - 2.
Hudson Line train service will be adjusted for Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 1 -2, to accommodate necessary track work in the area between Manitou and Beacon. This infrastructure work will improve the reliability of train service.
To accommodate this work, trains operating between Poughkeepsie and Grand Central Terminal will run on an hourly schedule. Local trains operating between Grand Central Terminal (GCT) and Croton-Harmon, are not affected by this adjustment and will run on a regular weekend schedule.
Regular train service resumes on Monday, Dec. 3.
The following schedule adjustments will be made for Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 1 -2:
Southbound to Grand Central Terminal
- Trains departing Poughkeepsie between 7:50 AM and 9:50 PM, inclusive, will depart 15 minutes earlier and will stop at all stations 15 minutes earlier than the normally scheduled departure (see Sept. 30 schedule).
- Four inbound trains departing Poughkeepsie at 8:37 AM, 9:40 AM, 10:40 AM, and 3:40 PM will be canceled.
Northbound to Poughkeepsie
- All trains from GCT to Poughkeepsie will depart 15 minutes later and will arrive at all stations 15 minutes later than the current timetable (see Sept. 30 schedule).
- Four PM outbound trains departing GCT at 4:14 PM, 5:14 PM, 6:14 PM and 8:14 PM will be canceled.
