Wave Hill Public Garden & Cultural Center

To welcome you safely and avoid crowding, advance reservations are required for all visitors. You may come any time during open hours on the day of your reservation. Make a reservation before you purchase this package.

The experience

Looking out over the Hudson River and Palisades, nestled on the edge of the city, this 28-acre garden oasis and cultural center is one of the treasures of New York City. Through gallery exhibitions, family art projects, walks, workshops, beekeeping, yoga, gardening, cooking demos—most of these currently virtual—Wave Hill invites you to explore and celebrate human connections to the natural world in a magnificent setting.

Purchase your rail/admission ticket from any Metro-North ticket office, full-service ticket vending machine (excluding Riverdale Station).

Getting there

Take the Hudson Line to Riverdale Station, where free shuttle service is available to Wave Hill’s front gates.  Visit here for shuttle schedule.
