Old Rhinebeck Aerodrome

The experience

The Old Rhinebeck Aerodrome is America’s first flying museum of antique aircraft. With over 60 planes from the Pioneer, WWI and Golden Ages of aviation it features a Saturday Air Show highlighting all the eras and a Sunday WWI spectacular with a dogfight, a hero (Cheer!), a villain (Boo!) and a dramatic pageant. Aircraft are flown in a historic setting recreating vintage airport, with a large museum complex with modern, family friendly restrooms and a snack stand on weekends.

The deal

Rides in a 1929 biplane are available, first come–first served on weekends and by reservation 845-758-3200 on weekdays. For more information visit Old Rhinebeck Aerodrome here.

Getting there

Take the Hudson Line to Poughkeepsie Station. Before your trip visit here to reserve a car, located at the Poughkeepsie Station. Or, take a taxi (call ahead). The Old Rhinebeck Aerodrome is located at 9 Norton Road, Red Hook, NY.
