Kykuit (The Rockefeller Estate) Tour

You’ll enjoy a view of time gone by like none you’ve ever seen when you step into this historic world of elegance and opulence.
“The Classic Tour” takes you on a guided tour of the magnificent home created in 1909 by philanthropist John D. Rockefeller. You’ll see the main floor of the house, the art galleries, the gardens surrounding the house, and the Coach Barn containing antique carriages and classic automobiles. (This tour is offered throughout the day).
The Visitor Center opens at 9 a.m. and tours operate on a first-come, first-served basis. The last tour of the day is at 3 p.m. weekdays and 4 p.m. weekends. (Due to the popularity of the tour, you must purchase your tour ticket in advance at www.hudsonvalley.org)
The Kykuit tour is not recommended for children under the age of 10. Strollers and backpacks must be checked at the Visitor Center prior to the tour.

- Purchase your full-price Kykuit tour ticket(s) in advance online at www.hudsonvalley.org
- Purchase Metro-North rail fare ticket(s) for travel to Tarrytown on the same day that your Kykuit tour tickets are valid for.
- When you arrive at the Kykuit visitor center, present your valid Metro-North receipt showing same-day travel to Tarrytown, and receive a $5 per ticket discount credited back to the credit/debit card used to make the Kykuit ticket purchase.
Take the Hudson Line to Tarrytown Station. From there take a short taxi ride to the Visitor Center (additional $4-$6).
