The experience

Living History and Family Fun-the myth and magic of early flight. Thrill to the oldest, regularly flying airplane in the Western Hemisphere, cheer for the hero and boo for the villain in an historic WWI dogfight, barnstorm with the golden age machines of the Lindbergh era. Be part of it with a ride in a 1929 Biplane. Over 60 aircraft, vintage automobiles and a WWI tank, an authentic, active, vintage flying field and large static display museum. Purchase your rail/admission ticket from any Metro-North ticket office or full-service ticket vending machine (excluding Fordham Station).

Getting there

Take the Hudson Line to Poughkeepsie Station (take the 9:43 a.m. or 10:43 a.m. train). Before your trip, visit Zipcar here to reserve a car (Zipcar located at the station). Or, take a taxi to the Aerodrome. Flight operations are subject to equipment availability and weather conditions. Biplane rides are first come-first flown. Check here for an ITINERARY.
