The Lincoln Depot Museum is a 3,000 square foot freight and passenger rail depot where President-elect Abraham Lincoln addressed the citizens of Westchester County, New York on February 19, 1861 during his inaugural journey from Springfield, IL to Washington, D.C. The primary focus of the Museum’s collection and exhibits is Lincoln and New York: The Indispensable Relationship, which examines essential connections between Abraham Lincoln and New York and its military regiments, its media outlets, railroad and industrial development
