Hudson Line Schedule Change, Two Weekends, Sept. 7 -8 and 14-15
There will be a special schedule in effect on the Hudson Line for the weekends of Sept. 7-8 and 14-15, 2019.
The change is due to work being done in the vicinity of Manitou which requires a single-track operation in the 13-mile segment between Cortlandt and Breakneck Ridge. Work includes the replacement of the Manitou grade crossing, and surfacing work on the track switches immediately south of the crossing.
Train service between Croton-Harmon and Grand Central will not be affected. Between Poughkeepsie and Croton-Harmon, trains will operate with some schedule adjustments as follows:Southbound to Grand Central Terminal
- The 9:24 AM, 10:24 AM and 3:24 PM trains from Poughkeepsie to Grand Central Terminal will not operate. Customers are encouraged to use the trains departing Poughkeepsie at 8:57 AM, 9:57 AM, and 10:57 AM in the morning, and 2:46 PM or 3:51 PM in the afternoon.
- The 7:52 AM, 8:52 AM, 9:52 AM, 10:52 AM, 1:52 PM, 3:46 PM and 5:50 PM trains from Poughkeepsie to Grand Central Terminal will operate 3-5 minutes later at all stations.
Northbound to Poughkeepsie
- The 4:14 PM, 5:14 PM and 6:14 PM trains from Grand Central Terminal to Poughkeepsie will not operate. Customers are encouraged to use the trains departing Grand Central at 3:45 PM, 4:45 PM, 5:45 PM or 6:45 PM.
- Poughkeepsie bound trains operating between 6:45 AM and 5:45 PM from Grand Central Terminal will operate on their normal schedules between Grand Central Terminal and Cold Spring, and will operate 2-5 minutes later at stations between Breakneck Ridge and Poughkeepsie
