Metro-North Railroad Service for Martin Luther King Jr.’s Birthday, Monday, Jan. 20, 2020

In observance of The Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s birthday on Monday, January 20, Metro-North Railroad will operate on a special schedule as follows:

  • The Hudson, Harlem and New Haven Lines will operate an enhanced Saturday schedule with 40 additional trains. That includes 3 extra Hudson Line trains, 21 extra Harlem Line trains, including two additional Wassaic connections, and 16 extra New Haven Line trains, including branch connections.

  • For West of Hudson customers, there will be 3 additional trains on the Port Jervis Line.

  • Off-peak fares apply all day.

  • The Haverstraw-Ossining and Newburgh-Beacon ferries and the Hudson Rail Link buses serving Spuyten Duyvil and Riverdale will operate on special schedules, see our Connecting Service page.

The extra Hudson, Harlem and New Haven trains’ departure times are included in the weekend/holiday section of the current Metro-North timetables, dated September 29, 2019.
