On the weekends of August 17-18 and 24-25, a special schedule will be in effect on the Hudson Line. The schedule is to accommodate trackwork south of Poughkeepsie and in the vicinity of Garrison.

This trackwork requires two single-track operations over a 7-mile distance between Manitou and Cold Spring and a 14 mile-distance between Beacon and Poughkeepsie station, resulting in reduced service between Poughkeepsie, New Hamburg and Grand Central Terminal. The following schedule adjustments will be in effect:

  • Local service from Croton-Harmon to Grand Central Terminal is not affected by the trackwork near Poughkeepsie, with the exception of the regularly departing 5:30 AM train from Croton-Harmon which will depart at 5:26 AM., 4 minutes earlier, making station stops 4 minutes earlier at all scheduled stops to Grand Central Terminal.
