Vintage Subway & Bus Fleet

GET YOUR HOLIDAYS ROLLING!
Take a historic ride on a vintage subway or bus*.
Pay with MetroCard®. The cost to ride is $2.75, the same as any other subway or bus.

*Vintage subway and bus service is subject to equipment availability and favorable weather.

The Vintage train runs November 26, December 3, 10, 17, and 24, 10 AM to 5 PM

MTA New York City Transit's "Nostalgia Shoppers' Special Train" is running again!

You can catch a ride on these classic R 1/9 subway cars at stations along the 2 Av Q line icon line between 96 and 63 Sts, and then via the F line icon to 2 Av. You can board the trains at these stations:

• 2 Av • 57 St
• B'way-Lafayette St • Lexington Av/63 St
• W 4 St • 72 St (Q)
• 34 St-Herald Sq • 86 St (Q)
• 42 St-Bryant Park • 96 St (Q)
• 47-50 Sts/Rockefeller Ctr

2nd Avenue are at
10 AM, 12 PM,
2 PM, and 4 PM.

Departures from
96 St are at 11 AM,
1 PM, 3 PM, 5 PM.

Vintage Train
 

Vintage buses run Mondays to Fridays,
December 4 — 22, 9 AM to 5 PM

Vintage New York City Transit buses are running in passenger service across 42 Street along the M42 route.

This year features buses No: 100, 1059, 3100, 4727, 5227, 8466, 9098.

With a little bit of luck and good timing, you can catch a ride on one of these classic buses!
