IMPORTANT NOTICE TO ALL POTENTIAL BIDDERS AND PROPOSERS
We hope your family, friends, work colleagues and employees remain safe and healthy.
The MTA is currently evaluating the impacts of the Covid-19 virus on its financial operations and Capital Program. We project that within the next 60 days we will have developed a path forward for the Capital Program that we will be able to share. In the meantime, we need to hold off on awarding new Capital Program construction or consulting contracts and, with few exceptions, we are suspending action on open solicitations for those contracts.
Accordingly, unless expressly advised otherwise, the dates for submission of bids, RFQs and RFPs for open solicitations for MTA Construction & Development or for any other capital budget-funded MTA projects are hereby adjourned until further notice. Similarly, currently scheduled qualification hearings and pre-bid conferences are cancelled and will be rescheduled as appropriate. Again, we expect to provide additional information about the MTA’s Capital Program and these open solicitations within the next 60 days.
The MTA appreciates the hard work, cooperation and understanding of the consultant and contracting community during this challenging time.
