This is a new feature and it is not a credit card. It is a card you present when you want to put cash on your E-ZPass account. You do not need to have or use a credit card to get an MTA Cash Reload Card.
With the Reload Card, you can have an E-ZPass account and reload it with cash at thousands of stores or kiosks in the New York City metropolitan area that have the VISA ReadyLink system.

You can pay by cash, check or money order in person at one of three Customer Service Center locations in Staten Island, Queens, and Yonkers. You can also mail in a check to E-ZPass New York Customer Service.

You can make a one-time payment on the web. Log into your E-ZPass account, go to update personal information and select one-time payment, and complete the web form.
Or to replenish your account, you can make a one-time payment by phoning the E-ZPass New York Customer Service, and follow the menu options on the voice response system. The Customer service number is: 1- 800-333-8655 (TOLL).
