Ways to fund your E-ZPass account:
Pay Per Trip (New!) Don’t like to pre-pay tolls? This option is for you.
 

Pay Per Trip does not require pre-payment.   Tolls are deducted from your checking account on the same day as your trip. This is a pay as you go feature.

MTA Cash Reload Card (Like to use cash?) This is for drivers who want to reload their accounts with cash at a nearby location.
 

This is a new feature and it is not a credit card.  It is a card you present when you want to put cash on your E-ZPass account.  You do not need to have or use a credit card to get an MTA Cash Reload Card.

With the Reload Card, you can have an E-ZPass account and reload it with cash at thousands of stores or kiosks in the New York City metropolitan area that have the VISA ReadyLink system.

Automatic Replenishment with credit card, checking account or savings account. The easiest way to pay.
 
If you choose automatic replenishment by credit card or bank account, your account will always be valid and in good standing provided your credit card is in good standing or you have sufficient funds in your checking or savings account.  We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.

You can pay by cash, check or money order in person at one of three Customer Service Center locations in Staten Island, Queens, and Yonkers. You can also mail in a check to E-ZPass New York Customer Service.

You can make a one-time payment on the web. Log into your E-ZPass account, go to update personal information and select one-time payment, and complete the web form.

Or to replenish your account, you can make a one-time payment by phoning the E-ZPass New York Customer Service, and follow the menu options on the voice response system. The Customer service number is: 1- 800-333-8655 (TOLL).
