E-ZPass Pay Per Trip

When you sign-up for an E-ZPass account, you need to select a discount plan and payment option to replenish your E-ZPass account.  There are unique plans and payment options available only to MTA Bridges and Tunnel accounts such Pay Per Trip and MTA Cash Reload Card .

Pay Per Trip a new plan has its own unique payment option along with the E-ZPass standard discounts.  Pay Per Trip links your MTA E-ZPass account to your checking account and pays all your E-ZPass tolls once per day, direct from your bank account, on the days when tolls post to your E-ZPass account

This is not a pre-paid account that the original E-ZPass system was designed for; this is a post-paid account therefore the prepayment is waived.  A tag deposit of $10 is required but it is waived if you provide an optional credit card balance payment as back-up.
