MEETING NOTIFICATION


The next ADA Compliance Coordination Committee (CCC) Meeting hosted by the Office of ADA Compliance will be held on Monday, June 25, 2018, 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.  The meeting will take place at 2 Broadway (between Stone and Beaver Streets), 20th Floor Conference Room, New York, N.Y. 10004.

If you require a sign language interpreter, the use of Computer Aided Real-time Translation (CART) service, assistive listening device, Braille, or any other type of assistance, please inform us when confirming your attendance.  We can be reached at 646-252-3053.

For security purposes, you will be required to provide a U.S. government-issued photo identification upon entry to our facility.  In addition, we are required to submit a list of names of all attendees to building security.  In order to expedite your check-in process, we ask that you RSVP by close of business, Thursday, June 21, 2018.  We look forward to hearing from you.  Thank you.

Concerning Paratransit:

If you are a Paratransit customer interested in providing input to New York City Transit (NYCT) regarding Access-A-Ride you may apply for membership on the Paratransit Advisory Committee (PAC), a fifteen member advisory committee composed of customers and representatives from major disability organizations throughout New York City. Applicants for the committee are asked to visit the MTA website at www.mta.info and click on "Accessibility" at the top right hand side of the homepage; then under the Paratransit section click "Advisory Committee (PAC)" for full details.

If you have an individual complaint or would like to offer a commendation, please contact the Paratransit Division by using one of the following methods:

  1. Call 877-337-2017 and press "8", Monday – Friday, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m., to speak with a representative who handles paratransit issues. Deaf/hard of hearing customers: use your preferred relay service provider or the free 711 service relay to reach 877-337-2017.

  2. Write to MTA New York City Transit Paratransit Division, Customer Relations, 130 Livingston Street, Brooklyn, NY 11201

  3. E-mail at www.mta.info and click on Contact Us.

The information provided through any of these methods of communication will be forwarded to the appropriate supervisor for corrective action.

Concerning Stations or Bus Service:

If you have an individual complaint or would like to offer a commendation, please contact the Department of Buses or Subways by using one of the following methods:

  1. Call 511, then say "MTA", followed by "Subways and Buses" then say "comments and concerns" then press zero to speak with a customer representative.
    Note: If you prefer, after dialing 511 you can press "0" at any time to enable the touch-tone feature.
